Dry and sensitive skin has a more acidic pH, usually close to 4. This excess acidity causes redness and pimples, promotes dehydration and the appearance of certain diseases such as eczema. The skin is also less well protected and reacts more to external aggressions.

The lower the pH, the more the medium is oxidized. Dry skin has a very acidic pH, below 4.5. We know that dry skin has a sanguine temperament (Wet & hot because its environment is Acid/oxidized.)

For dry & sensitive skin that is characterized by positive charges, we select essential oils with a predominance of negative molecules to find a balance.

Negative biochemical families have the particularity of being calming and relaxing

Yunâni firming and antioxidant serum contains essential oils selected for their negative properties.

Monoterpenes meanwhile, balance the formula due to their positive properties contained in ginger. At low levels, they stimulate the digestive system, and are lymphatic and blood activators.

Cinnamon essential oil

Cinnamon is one of the oldest known spices: it is found in very old Chinese, Sanskrit and Egyptian writings. It was then mainly used for its medicinal properties and for the magical or symbolic virtues attributed to it. From Asia, it gradually won Greece and Ancient Rome (where its value was roughly equivalent to that of gold), following the Silk Road (modeled on that of spices!).

Properties at 77% phenol:

Cistus essential oil

Cistus was widely used as a medicinal plant in traditional medicine in antiquity by the Greeks and Romans.

Its essential oil is rich in monoterpenes which have essential anti-inflammatory properties for dry and sensitive skin. Esters and ketones are present to rebalance the excess positive charge of dry skin.

Properties at 50% monoterpenes:

Powerful antiseptics and atmospheric disinfectants
Antivirals, immune stimulants
Powerful anti-inflammatories,
analgesics and analgesics with percutaneous action
Digestive stimulants
